CIRMC's "Haiti Relief"

The United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, is a "missional church". Our Church's vision statement, "Touching Lives, Nurturing Disciples, and Seeking Transformation Through Christ" was the testimony of the Cayman Islands Regional Mission Council's efforts in gathering and sending supplies to Haiti. Our 92 boxes filled with food and supplies began its journey to our Church's Missionary Joan Page-Bain today, and should arrive in Haiti by the end of the week. We are humbled and over-enjoyed by the many lives that will be touched by our efforts. Our "Haiti Relief" would not be possible without the many members of our Congregations and communities who contributed, sorted, and delivered goods and supplies. The United Church in Cayman would like to especially thank the staff of DHL Express Cayman, David Gooding (Operations Manager of DHL Express Cayman), and Allan Blake (Director of Caribbean Operations & Country Manager of DHL) for their consistent efforts in ensuring that our boxes be sent off by this week. Thank you to all! God Bless!
