Dormitory Accommodations in Grand Cayman

The Prospect Youth Centre is located by the seaside on the beautiful island of Grand Cayman.

The Centre is owned and operated by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. It is a place where Christian and other groups may meet or reside in a quiet and private atmosphere, for the following purposes:

• 'Camping' – dormitory style!
• Accommodation / holiday 
• Conferences / seminars / Training events 
• Sports / games / picnics (and other outdoor activities) 
• Retreat / sleepover 
• Reception (wedding or otherwise); anniversary / birthday party; shower (wedding or baby) 
• Worship service 
• Any other event /events compatible with the United Church's policies on the use of its properties

The units, which make up the Centre, are:

• A Conference Hall – air-conditioned with a well-equipped kitchen on the top floor
• Sleeping quarters – Dorms, sleeps 48 - air conditioned - four sections with bunk beds sleeping 12 persons in each section - plus 2 leaders' rooms with double beds on the ground floor
• Bathroom facilities
• Playing court/parking lot

Please bring your own linens, toiletries and towels etc.

• Housekeeping services available, upon request 
• Internet wireless access 
• The sea is just 100' from the main dormitory, and we have a nice sandy beach. However, near shore the sea is very shallow and further out it quickly becomes very deep, therefore we recommend that no one goes out to the deep. Good swimming areas are nearby, including the world famous "Seven Mile Beach", about 20 minutes’ drive away.
