Cayman Prep and High School - 70th Anniversay Service
Cayman Prep and High School is celebrating 70 years of existence as an educational institution in the Cayman Islands. On Sunday, October 13, 2019 the Moderator of Synod, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Gordon Cowans will be the Preacher at the Anniversary Service. The Service will be held at the Elmslie Memorial Church commencing at 5:00pm.At 4:15 pm , there will be prayers said at the original site of the school which is behind the George Town Public Library. Those gathered will then process to the Elmslie Memorial Church.
All are invited to the service as we give thanks to God for the vision given to the then Presbyterian Church in 1949 to start a school in the Cayman Islands.
With its motto ' Let Your Light So Shine' , CPHS has been a beacon of excellence , offering the very best education to thousands of students not only in academics but in the development of values and good attitude, thus enabling them to make worthwhile contributions not only in the Cayman Islands but in many parts of the world.
