In this issue of the UCJCI Newsletter, UCJCI celebrates a successful "Youth Quake" which was held on May 5, 2018 at Andrews Memorial United Church, Manchester, under the theme, “Discipling Across Boundaries for Jesus”. The United Church Young People’s Fellowship (UCYPF) members came out in their numbers, and competed robustly, as a lively audience cheered for their Regions.

On Sunday April 22, 2018 the Ridge- mount United Church welcomed members of the Lions Club of Mande- ville as the club celebrated their anniversary. Also sharing in the service was a delega- tion from the Manchester Municipal Corporation head- ed by the Mayor of Mande- ville, Councillor Donovan Mitchell.

In this issue of the UCJCI newsletter, The Biennial Convocation of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) which had as its theme, “Disciples for Life, Disciples of Peace”, which was held at the Montego Bay Conference Centre, on Sunday, April 15, 2018 and had some 6,000 persons. The newsletter also highlights Mrs. Ivy Clarke.

The church’s new vision was to seek a property of its own, to establish a new sanctuary to continue the mission it’ started.
